The Chicago Blackhawks are amidst one of the oddest starts to a rebuild in recent memory after trading away Brandon Hagel, Alex DeBrincat, Kirby Dach, and Dylan Strome. All four players are 25 years old or younger, and typically, in a rebuild older players are traded for younger players, not vice-versa. This has upset fans and players of the Blackhawks, and Patrick Kane reportedly wants out.

Kane has been a superstar in the league for well over the past decade, as the 33-year-old has solidified himself as one of the best wingers in the NHL. Many contenders have likely called on Kane, and here are some of the top landing spots for the legendary winger.

Colorado Avalanche

The Avs are enjoying their summer after winning the Stanley Cup, but Kane would just add to the already stacked forward group. Imagining Kane and Nathan MacKinnon on a line together is downright frightening. Colorado would likely need to include both Samuel Girard and J.T. Compher in order to make a deal work, as well as prospects and picks.

Los Angeles Kings

The Kings kind of came out of nowhere last season, making the playoffs, and almost upsetting the Edmonton OIlers in the first round of the 2022 Stanley Cup playoffs. Los Angeles already acquired budding superstar Kevin Fiala from the Minnesota Wild this offseason, and it seems that general manager Rob Blake may try to take a shot at the superstar.

New York Rangers

The Rangers are an intriguing landing spot for Kane. First of all, Artemi Panarin, Kane's former linemate, has enjoyed some solid years in New York. Kane is arguably Panarin's favorite all-time linemate, which isn't surprising. Anyone would love to play on a line with Kane. The 33-year-old is also from New York, which makes the Rangers even more attractive to Kane in order to be closer to family.

Tampa Bay Lightning

The Lightning nearly completed a three-peat of the Stanley Cup, something that hasn't happened since the early 80s by the New York Islanders, but ultimately fell short of it at the hands of the Colorado Avalanche. There would be a lot of moving parts if the Bolts attempted to acquire Kane, including moving Alex Killorn or Philippe Myers as well as getting another team into the mix. Kane would slot in very nicely with either Brayden Point or Nikita Kucherov.
