The 2022 NHL Entry Draft is underway at the Bell Centre in Montreal. After years of training, prospects from all over the world ascended to the home of the Montreal Canadiens to hopefully hear their name called by a National Hockey League General Manager.

Let's take a look at the top-ten picks from the first round on Thursday night.

1. Montreal Canadiens - Juraj Slafkovsky (TPS - Liiga)
2. New Jersey Devils Simon Nemec (HK Nitra - Slovak Extraliga)
3. Arizona Coyotes Logan Cooley (USA U-18 - USNTDP)
4. Seattle Kraken Shane Wright (Kingston - OHL)
5. Philadelphia Flyers Cutter Gauthier (USA U-18 - USNTDP)
6. Columbus Blue Jackets David Jiricek (HC Plzen - Czech Extraliga)
7. Chicago Blackhawks Kevin Korchinski (Seattle - WHL)
8. Detroit Red Wings Marco Kasper (Rogle BK - SHL)
9. Buffalo Sabres Matthew Savoie (Winnipeg - WHL)
10. Anaheim Ducks Pavel Mintyukov (Saginaw - OHL)
