On Tuesday, long-time TSN hockey insider Bob McKenzie released his final rankings for the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, which is set to get underway in just over a week at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

Following an outstanding performance at the 2022 Winter Olympics in China and a strong showing at the 2022 IIHF World Hockey Championship, TPS Turku forward Juraj Slafkovsky has taken the top spot on McKenzie's list for the first time this season.

"What separates Slafkovsky from Wright for me is that he's bigger, he played harder, he was more consistent with his competitiveness, and he stepped up to produce on big stages [Olympics and world championship]," another NHL head scout told McKenzie. "In my view, he has the best chance to be a first-line NHL forward."

Coming in at second is Kingston Frotenacs forward Shane Wright, who despite a slow start to the OHL season, finished the year with 94 points (32 goals, 62 assists) in 63 games.

Rounding out the top-three, Bob McKenzie has center Logan Cooley, who had 75 points in 51 games with the USNTDP U-18 and 36 points in 24 games with the USNTDP Juniors in the USHL.

Let's take a look at the top ten of Bob McKenzie's rankings.

1. Juraj Slafkovsky - TPS Turku (Liiga)
2. Shane Wright - Kingston Frontenacs (OHL)
3. Logan Cooley - USNTDP (USHL)
4. Simon Nemec - HK Nitra (Slovak Extraliga)
5. Cutter Gauthier - USNTDP (USHL)
