If you're going to get suspended, might as well make it for something awesome. And Alex Lyon of the Chicago Wolves understands this, and after his team just emerged as champions of the American Hockey League Calder Cup Playoffs he decided he simply didn't give a shoot:

Lyon was suspended by the League for his next two AHL games, and frankly I doubt he gives a flying hoot. Two games? One for each middle finger, keep the change. Lyon was lights out in these playoffs too, sporting a 2.03 GAA & .923 SV%. He went 9-3 in his 12 starts, backstopping the Wolves to a Calder Cup. Will he earn NHL consideration from the Carolina Hurricanes next season? After all, Freddie Andersen & Antti Raanta both have one year remaining on their contracts, so it could be prudent to place Lyon & promising prospect Pyotr Kotchetkov into NHL action.
