According to Russia media outlet, TASS, pending unrestricted free agent forward Maxim Mamin, who spent the past year with the Florida Panthers, is returning to the KHL.

TASS is reporting that Mamin has agreed to a three-year contract (AAV not disclosed) with his former KHL club, CSKA Moscow, where he's played parts of six seasons.

The Moscow native was selected in sixth round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft by the Florida Panthers. Mamin came over to North America in 2017 and spent two years with the Panthers, before returning to CSKA Moscow. He would go on to spend the next three seasons in the KHL, before returning to North America and signing a one-year contract with the Panthers on the opening day of free agency, last summer.

In 40 games this season with Florida, the 27-year-old tallied fourteen points (seven goals, seven assists), thirteen penalty minutes and was a plus-eight. He also appeared in four games during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, but didn't record any points.
