Despite surrendering a two-goal lead, the Avalanche were able to come away with the victory thanks to Andre Burakovsky's overtime goal 1:23 into to extra frame.
Colorado may have some depth coming back into the lineup on Saturday night as Andrew Cogliano was a full participant at the morning skate, appearing in his usual spot on the fourth line. Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar said that Cogliano is 'possibly an option' for Game 2. It's likely that Cogliano will take the warm-up and then a decision will be made. The 35-year-old underwent finger surgery just over a week ago, on June 9th.

With Cogliano likely to draw in, Nicolas Aube-Kubel is expected to be a healthy scratch for Game 2. Aube-Kubel was skating after practice with the other scratches.
Nicolas Aube-Kubel was out skating late, meaning he will likely sit tonight. So assuming the top six is the same, the #Avs bottom six will likely be a combination of Lehkonen, Helm, O'Connor, Cogliano, Sturm and Newhook. https://t.co/2fzXrCVwK3— Peter Baugh (@Peter_Baugh) June 18, 2022
Avalanche forward Nazem Kadri also skated on Saturday morning, but not with the main group. Kadri is recovering from thumb surgery he had on June 6th and was doing some puck work on the ice for a second straight day.
As for the Tampa Bay Lightning, they're looking to tie the series up at one game a piece before heading back home for Games 3 and 4 on Monday and Wednesday respectively. It doesn't appear that head coach Jon Cooper will make any changes to the lineup from Game 1, but there's a change Brayden Point moves up, possibly back to the number one center role. On Friday, Point was in the 3C role, but with the Lightning needing tonight's win to avoid going down 0-2, Point may have to move up to the top line with Stamkos and Kucherov.
Puck drop for Game 2 at Ball Arena in Denver is set for 8 p.m. ET/6 p.m. local and can be viewed on CBC and Sportsnet in Canada, ABC in the United States.
