Scheduling scenarios for the 2022 Stanley Cup Finals

The 2022 Stanley Cup Final is right around the corner with the Colorado Avalanche set to face either the Tampa Bay Lightning or New York Rangers.

On Friday, two different schedules were released for the 2022 Stanley Cup Final. The first is if the Lightning defeat the Rangers in Game 6 on Saturday, which means the SCF would begin on June 15th. The second schedule is if the Rangers force a Game 7, which would have the SCF start on June 18th.

Let's take a look at the two scheduling scenarios. (* - If necessary)

If Tampa Bay wins Game 6 on Saturday.

Game 1: June 15th at 8 p.m. ET. (In Denver)
Game 2: June 18th at 8 p.m. ET. (In Denver)
Game 3: June 20th at 8 p.m. ET. (In Tampa Bay)
Game 4: June 22nd at 8 p.m. ET. (In Tampa Bay)
*Game 5: June 24th at 8 p.m. ET. (In Denver)
*Game 6: June 26th at 8 p.m. ET. (In Tampa Bay)
*Game 7: June 28th at 8 p.m. ET. (In Denver)

If New York forces a Game 7.

Game 1: June 18th at 8 p.m. ET. (In Denver)
Game 2: June 20th at 8 p.m. ET. (In Denver)
Game 3: June 22nd at 8 p.m. ET. (In New York or Tampa Bay)
Game 4: June 24th at 8 p.m. ET. (In New York or Tampa Bay)
*Game 5: June 26th at 8 p.m. ET. (In Denver)
*Game 6: June 28th at 8 p.m. ET. (In New York or Tampa Bay)
*Game 7: June 30th at 8 p.m. ET. (In Denver)

The schedule could be figured out as early as tomorrow night. The Tampa Bay Lightning will look to wrap up the Eastern Conference Final on Saturday night with a win on home ice and advance to their third straight Stanley Cup Final. Puck drop is set for 8 p.m. ET on CBC, Sportsnet and ESPN.
