The Los Angeles Kings have locked up their General Manager and Hockey Hall of Famer Rob Blake to a three-year extension according to TSN's Pierre LeBrun.

"Hearing that GM Rob Blake has agreed to a three-year extension with the Kings. Likely won't be officially announced for a week or two, but source confirms the deal is done. His current deal was expiring June 30. @TSNHockey
@TheAthletic," LeBrun said.

Blake, 52, was hired by the Los Angeles Kings to become their General Manager and Vice-President in April of 2017.

For the second time in his five years at the helm, the Kings qualified for the Stanley Cup Playoffs, but ultimately fell to the Edmonton Oilers in seven games. Blake made a number of key trades and signings, adding Viktor Arvidsson, Phillip Danault, Alex Edler and Troy Stetcher to their lineup.
