If any wrestler knows how to get fans to either love him or hate him, it's CM Punk. The 'Best in the World' is a noted hockey fan and has used his hockey knowledge to get a reaction from fans in the past. While appearing with AEW at UBS Arena Wednesday night, Punk decided to troll the New York Islanders faithful, coming out in a John Tavares Islanders jersey.

Punk got exactly the reaction he was looking for, as the fans booed him relentlessly as he walked to the ring.

Tavares, of course, left the Islanders in 2018 to sign with his hometown Toronto Maple Leafs. He requested not to be traded at the previous deadline, meaning he walked as a free agent, leaving the Islanders with getting nothing in return. That has left a sour taste in the mouths of Isles fans, and it will likely remain that way for years to come.
