Nearly three months after winning their first-ever Olympic gold medal, Finland will be looking for some more hardware and are hosting the World Championship for the first time since 2013, when they co-hosted with Sweden.

The Finns announced their roster for the tournament and due to Nashville being eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs, they were able to add some scoring help to their forward group with Mikael Granlund.

With Granlund added, Finland made the decision to cut Miro Aaltonen. Buffalo Sabres defenceman Henri Jokiharju, who was on the preliminary roster, has left the team after testing positive for COVID-19.
