Since being traded to the Philadelphia Flyers, Ryan Ellis' presence with the team has been scarce to say the least. Ellis has played only four games with the Flyers (5 points, how are ya) due to more than one injury.

His presence--or lack thereof--has some around the organization questioning his interest in playing in Philly. Anthony Di Marco dropped an exposé on the subject today, and it has some pretty serious implications regarding the veteran defenseman & his future in Philly.

Anthony Di Marco of The Fourth Period published an exposé on the situation here:

The story highlights more than one problem facing Flyers' management, but the focus is the void between Ellis & the team.

Ellis has apparently been absent from the team for more than three weeks according to Di Marco, leaving some around the organization scratching their heads as to why.

To add injury to insult, Ellis reportedly requires surgery on an unspecified injury.

Furthermore, the unsavory departure of longtime Flyer Captain Claude Giroux entrenched the bad vibrations around the club.

The Flyers are most likely due for some serious managerial change & don't be surprise if their team looks a lot different as a result.
