Hobey Baker Winning Goaltender Supposedly Drawing Little Attention From NHL Clubs

Dryden McKay was an incredible goaltender at the college level. Elite would be a fitting description. The first goaltender to be deemed college hockey's best player since a guy named Ryan Miller (heard of him?), one would think NHL clubs would be all over him.

However, that may not be the case according to former NHL goalie Mike McKenna with the Daily Faceoff:

This is especially odd given the number of NHL clubs who are desperate for goaltending. Teams like New Jersey, Edmonton, St Louis, Toronto...each of these teams have big question-marks in net & could use a solid option.

Weird how teams are passing over a goalie with his kind of résumé...
