When the buzzer sounded at the end of the third period in Gatineau (Quebec), history was made.

With the victory, goaltender Eve Gascon became the second woman in QMJHL history to record a win, twenty-two years after Charline Labonte won four games for the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.

Gascon made 23 saves on 26 shots in the 7-3 win over the Drummondville
Voltigeurs, earning herself first star honours, as well as Gatineau's player of the game award.

Congratulations to Eve on the victory. Hopefully we see more of those in the future whether it be in the QMJHL or for Team Canada!
