Dan Milstein, an agent who represents several well-known, Russian NHLers, is calling for additional security for his clients. Milstein says they are receiving threats both in person and online due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

I just spoke with @HockeyAgent1. He has raised concerns of «real threats» to his Russian based clients both in-person and on Social media to the NHLPA and NHL clubs with Russian born players. Milstein is asking for additional security for his players in North America. - Darren Dreger, TSN

Milstein did not name any clients in particular, but represents names such as Nikita Kucherov, Andrei Vasilevskiy, Nikita Zaitsev, Ilya Sorokin, Nikita Zadorov, and several others.

Tensions are running high across the globe as the conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues, and the hockey world is reacting. Reports state Russia and Belarus will be removed from the International Ice Hockey Federation on Monday, and any upcoming tournaments scheduled to take place in those countries will be withdrawn.
