Former Hab Ryan White's first born son diagnosed with incurable brain tumor
Former Montreal Canadiens forward Ryan White was known for being a consistent fourth liner with grit and some scoring touch every once in a while, but right now him and his wife Sarah are going through a very tough time.
On Friday, their first born son Gordie Joseph Ryan White was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumor, diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG). It is an aggressive form of brain cancer that has a 0% survival rate.
It is extremely sad for the family, and a gofundme page has been organized for the cause. In just 20 hours of being up, the donations have poured into almost $85,000. The goal for the page was $60,000. Angela and Carey Price are the top donors thus far, donating $5,000.
