50-year-old goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin has come out of retirement after not playing for over a decade and will play with Torpedo of the KHL.

Khabibulin Signs A Contract With Torpedo

It was just announced that goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin has signed a contract with Torpedo of the KHL.

⚡️ TORPEDO MAKES IT OFFICIAL ⚡️

Nikolai Khabibulin, who is Torpedo's goaltending coach, has signed a one-way contract until the end of the season.

He'll turn 51 in January. The Russian Jagr.

Khabibulin's last game came in October of 2013 and he has decided that he could put the pads back on one last time.

He has played in 799 career NHL games and won a Stanley Cup with the Lightning back in 2004. This adds to his legendary status and is downright impressive to do.
