William Nylander has been missing for the first two games of the Maple Leafs first-round playoff series, and now Sheldon Keefe has given fans a major update.
Maple Leafs Head Coach Sheldon Keefe has been very tight lipped thus far in the playoffs, and on Tuesday, his update was very similar to that of Monday, as he reiterates that Nylander is a ‘possibility' for game three.
Sheldon Keefe on William Nylander:
"Obviously no update today, because not much happening for us here today except for getting ready to travel. But he's a possibility for us tomorrow, I guess, is all we would say."
Given what we saw on the ice in clips of practice yesterday, it appears Nylander is improving rapidly, and with another day off and a return home with the series poised at 1-1, we may see No. 88 back on the ice once again.
After a rough start in game one, the Maple Leafs stars turned it on in game two, and given his impressive playoff pedigree, Nylander could only help this team as they look to overcome the odds against the tough Boston Bruins.
