Auston Matthews was absent from practice this morning.
This would be a terrible loss to the Leafs top scoring lines,
as they would be missing Mitch Marner who remains out with an ankle injury and
Auston Matthews, their two top-scoring players.
However, Mark Masters suggested that Matthews could be in the lineup tonight, given the way the lines were presented at practice if you consider Marner to be a placeholder for Matthews in the lineup tonight.
